Chef/Owner Joe Birch, recently voted one of ?America?s Top 25 Chefs? in 2007, has for the past 20 years traveled across and studied the cuisines of Europe. These travels and experiences, his vast culinary training, and many of his own family recipes are the inspiration behind both the concept and the creation of the dishes at Avenues.
Birch?s kitchen is led by Executive Chef Mario Galan. In 2007 he and Birch earned Avenues ?Best New Restaurant- Kansas City? and followed that up in 2008 with the Ingram?s Magazine Bronze Award for ?Top 3 Restaurants in Kansas City?.
Avenues just recently introduced ?Recession Proof? pricing for 2009. All of the same great menu entrees, all $20 and under, including such top sellers as Prime KC Strip Steak & Lobster Ravioli
