New Creations Salon

If you're reading this, you are in the same position I was: searching for a stylist, not wanting another uninspired cut and not knowing where to go. Stop Searching, Call Brittany. I didn't know her or New Creations Salon other than they were close to me, but I read the reviews and decided to go for it: I couldn't be more happy. I was ready for a cut from long hair to short, and Brittany worked with me until I was completely comfortable with where we were going. AND I GOT THE BEST STYLE EVER! It's literally a style that you can get up in the morning, run your fingers through it, and go. Plus, it's an actual STYLE, not just a cut. I get so many compliments, and I feel great. . I have found my stylist, and I'm not looking back. Brittany, thank you, you're a dear.

I had a great experience. Sandra gave a bikini & eyebrow wax. Odd to say I know, but it was impressive. It really was the most pain free and quick wax I've had. My brows (which are not the easiest to make look great) were perfect. I just moved into town and was recommended by a friend. This was an experience I cared to write about. Thank you.

I just took my 12 yr old daughter to New Creations to go from long curly hair to short, punky and messy. All I can say is WOW! I found this place on the internet and took a chance. The bldg/house is so adorable and cute and eclectic. Kasie is amazing. 1000000% recommend this girl. She is adorable and knows just what she is doing.

My daughter was going through some rough times at school and Kasie gave her back her confidence with this haircut, so the experience is absolutely priceless.

New Creations is the best salon I have come across in a long time. Kasey is my colorist, and she is amazing. I trust her 100%! She always makes you look and feel your best. In the past: I have never been able to trust someone fully with my hair. The first time I let Kasey cut my hair was when I donated it for Locks of Love. We cut off more than 10 inches and I was a little nervous about the whole thing !! All I had to tell her was that I wanted a simple bob that could grow out easily. And the next thing I knew my hair was exactly like I pictured it in my head. She knew what worked with my face and was honest with what didn't. Since then she's also colored my hair, which was a first for me. I've had highlights in the past, but I had never had a full color and she knew exactly what color would work with my skin when I told her I wanted to go darker. I love her and the salon and always enjoy myself. The atmosphere is always so inviting, even on your first visit!

usually I dread going to a hair salon because I?ve never been one to put much effort or thought into my hairstyle, which, for some reason, seems to offend the hairstylists I?ve been to. In hopes of avoiding hair salons with snobbish attitudes I came to citysearch and found Lindsey at New Creations. I?m glad I did. She made me feel at ease about my hair and was not judgmental about my lack of hairstyling finesse. also, I have baby fine hair and she was able to make it look full of body and sass. This cut little salon was kind of like a salon version of Cheers-everyone seemed to know everyone's name and the clients were even very warm and inviting in conversation with each other. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and absolutely love my haircut!

I have been living in KC for 6 years, and have really been a 'salon hopper' during my time here, even trying some of the bigger named salons, because I never found a place with an atmosphere that I felt comfortable in, a stylist that I felt I could trust completely AND communicate easily with about my preferences and needs, with a price that was sustainable for me. My search is over. Kasey is so incredibly welcoming, the reviewer that said that she treats new customers as if they were long time family friends was exactly right! Usually, I hate the generic 'chit-chat' with stylists, but her great sense of humor, warm spirit and genuine personality made the experience just delightful for me. I'm not at all a 'fashionista' and often feel very self-conscious in upscale salons. Not only was Kasey super welcoming, the other ladies who where there before/after me were just as nice. It is a refreshing atmosphere that makes you just feel comfortable to be yourself. I came in with a 'rescue' hair cut, and even though it will take a few months for my hair to grow out to be exactly where I'd like it to be, it looked GREAT when I walked out. The cut was so great, I came back to have her do my color and also waxed my eyebrows and my expectations were exceeded. I already scheduled an appointment for my next visit, and Kasey will be my hairstylist from now on.

I wouldn't normally bother writing a review, but this is my go-to being new to the area to find out where to eat, get my hair cut, etc.
Well I saw the good reviews for New Creations so I went for a cut and color. I asked for an angled bob- not stacked in the back. I took in a picture, it was of me with the haircut I wanted, so obviously it had been done before on me and should have been able to be recreated. Well she stacked it in the back and cut it uneven on the sides with extra long strips on either side in the front around my face. The angle did not fade at all it was just choppy and weird. I mean I have gotten hair cuts I haven't loved, but this was just horrible. No matter how much time I spent on my hair I could never get it to look good. and to boot, my underage stylist was talking to the stylist next to her about how she had been out late drinking the night before. Do what you want- but please have a little more professionalism at work.
The color wasn't anything to write home about after she had chopped up the back of my hair it was all dark underneath and I go for a more natural look. So I guess you can see my opinion of New Creations- skip it. I went to Salon Medusa and got a corrective cut by Marie and I love it.

I recently went to New Creations Salon on a whim. I was thrilled with the results, Kasie made my hair look amazing. I have been receiving so many compliments, I proudly tell them where I got my new look. She walked me through everything she was doing, gave me tons of styling tips, and even showed me a foolproof method of blow drying! My highlights look so natural, my hair color has never been so shiny, I truly love it! It helps that I can actually style it at home (not as well of course). Unbelievably it's been almost 2 months and it still looks great, I just now made a return appointment. I'm actually excited to get my hair done and that's a first. Finally my search is over for a wonderful stylist and salon!

I decided to take a chance after reading all the outstanding reviews here on city search. What did I have to loose after zig zagging all over town to find the right salon?? I have finally found it! New Creations Salon is has a refreshingly comfortable and friendly atmosphere. It is a house turned into a little artsy salon. So cute, very unique and colorful decor. Kasie is my hairdresser and have never been happier with my hair. She always offers me an honest opinion and fresh new ideas (which I require to keep the boredom away!LOL). Many people stop me asking where I get my color done - and I'm proud to refer them to New Creations. No ?prima donnas? here - just nice people committed to excellence. Great music, not too loud, nice street side locationjust a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. I work at a local hotel and have referred many guests to the salon - they have all come back raving and looking gorgeous. You can't go wrong with whoever there does your hair. I am a working professional woman who has had several salon experiences in several cities, due to my frequent moves. I have had some favorites and some supposedly "hot" places which didn't care about what I really wanted for my hair. Today at New Creations was the experience I was definitely looking for! My stylist was Kasie, and she was PERFECT! Extremely easy to work with and absolutely LOVES her work! She invited me to sit down and take some time to discuss what I was looking for (since I wasn't very sure). No rushing off to the shampoo area!! We perused a couple magazines and talked about what would be complimentary to my face shape as well as my busy schedule. Kasie was very excited about finding a chic hairstyle just for me. She took the time to make sure everything was perfect, and that I was happy with the result. You could definitely tell that she was an artist and wanted her product to be nothing less than total bliss! And I can happily say my hair is bliss! My husband loves it too!! I would happily pay my usual "chi-chi" price, but an extra perk is my first cut was free with my hair color! But I recommend whole-heartedly, with or without the promo and I'm sure all girls agree that once you find a great place, you'll stay no matter what! New Creations salon has all the things that I look for: stylists with great looking hair (means they have pride in what they do and ENJOY what they do), wonderful atmosphere ( inviting and friendly), great communication (staff does want to make customers happy, but everyone needs to be vocal and not passive so you get what you really want), easy to schedule, and reasonable for market prices on both services and salon products available.
